The MBA distance-learning programme Leading Business Transformation provides you with a broad range of academic and application-oriented specialist knowledge in the relevant areas of management, particularly in the fields of finance and financial management, which will enable you as a manager to systematically and cross-departmentally drive forward the digital transformation in your company both internationally and nationally.

The programme contents are taught in a science-based and application-oriented manner in a reflective theory-practice transfer.
Applicants with a first university degree in economics with at least 180 ECTS credit points can be admitted to the continuing education programme MBA - Leading Business Transformation. A degree is accepted as an economics degree if at least 40 ECTS credits have been earned in modules from business administration and economics or from business and private law.
Applicants with a first university degree in a field other than economics must provide evidence of at least two years of relevant professional experience. Relevant professional experience is defined as professional experience in the field of business administration.
Applicants with initial vocational qualification in business administration must provide evidence of at least one year of relevant professional experience. Relevant professional experience is defined as professional experience in the field of business administration.
Furthermore, English language skills at level C1 must be proven. In addition to the language guideline, at least two years of work in an English-speaking business environment, documented by a certificate from the employer, can also serve as proof of the required language skills.
The Master's programme comprises a workload of 90 ECTS credits. Upon successful completion, students are awarded the internationally recognised academic degree of Master of Business Administration (MBA).
The Master's degree allows you access to the higher civil service and includes the right to do a doctorate in accordance with the doctoral regulations of the respective university.
The fees for the 1st - 5th semester are € 2,400 per semester plus the university's social contribution.

details and procedure
This online distance learning programme has a modular structure and comprises 5 semesters including the Master's thesis. Courses and exams are generally online and in English (level C1). Close student support and application-related transfer projects ensure theory-practice transfer throughout the entire programme.
Students prepare for the online courses in self-study and review the content discussed in the course. The distance learning programmes offered by htw saar provide support here. The degree programme is therefore individually plannable and fully tailored to the needs of working students.
This degree programme is offered by Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft des Saarlandes (htw saar) in cooperation with the zfh and is accredited by the AQAS agency.
