International Business Management as a certificate program is an ideal opportunity to expand your professional knowledge concerning business expertise and cross-sectoral qualifications parallel to your job. These competencies are essential for the assumption of executive positions and management tasks.

Course contents are designed with high practical relevance, so that they can be applied directly to your professional activities.

Fees and credit point will be counted towards a possible registration for the MBA program later on.

  • Business Simulation: The business simulation TOPSIM - General Management II is an integrated industry simulation. It encompasses all areas of a business, from the production to purchasing, human resources planning and research & development, to marketing and sales, as well as topics such as product life cycles, staff training, productivity, rationalization, environmental aspects, stock prices, and company valuation.

Admission Criteria and Qualification

For admission you must proof a completed first university degree from a university, university of applied sciences or university of cooperative education.

All applicants must hand in proof of English language proficiency on at least level B2 or higher according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The corresponding document must be no older than 5 years.

For applicants without a first university degree there is - under certain conditions - the possibility to get admission:

  •  they must be in possession of a university entrance qualification according to the legal provisions in Rheinland-Pfalz or
  • a completed vocational training (with a grade of at least 2.5 in the German grading system) or
  • a master craftsmen or equivalent degree
  • and proof relevant professional work experience of at least 3 years.

For the successful completion of each module a certificate is awarded from the Hochschule Ludwigshafen am Rhein or the Université Hasssan II. de Casablanca according to where it has been completed.  In case you later decide for the MBA program International Business Management these modules can be recognised.

This certificate program is also offered as an MBA program.

Program

The online program combines distance learning with face-to-face instruction. Students receive up-to-date tutorial notes, which are complemented by 2 one-week attendance phases each semester. Students are attended by their instructors via an e-learning platform. The attendance phases take place either at the Hochschule Ludwigshafen am Rhein or at the Université Hassan II in Casablanca according to the module chosen. The contents of the program are designed in such a way as to not only impart theoretical knowledge but also practical competencies in order to make the students able to solve problems of the professional practice.

Please note that some modules are offered only in wintersemesters, others only in summersemesters.

Residential Teaching

Face-to-face instruction takes place either at the Université Hassan II in Casablanca or at the Hochschule Ludwigshafen am Rhein according to the selected module.
